तेन सिंहप्रणादेन नामविश्रावणेन च ।
ज्याशब्देन च भीमेन त्रासयामास वानरान् ॥६-७१-६॥
tena siṃhapraṇādena nāmaviśrāvaṇena ca |
jyāśabdena ca bhīmena trāsayāmāsa vānarān ॥6-71-6॥
Translation
By that lion-like roar, by proclaiming his name, and by the terrible sound of his bowstring, he frightened the monkeys.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस सिंहगर्जना से, नाम की घोषणा से और धनुष की प्रत्यंचा के भयानक शब्द से उसने वानरों को भयभीत कर दिया।
English Commentary
Sonic warfare. The combination of the roar, the name, and the bowstring sound creates a terrified panic among the Vanaras. It highlights Atikaya's dominance; his mere arrival is enough to shake the morale of the opposing army.

ध्वनि का प्रभाव। अतिकाय की आवाज और धनुष की टंकार ने वानर सेना में आतंक ('त्रासयामास') फैला दिया। सिंह की दहाड़ ('सिंहप्रणादेन') जैसी उसकी आवाज सुनकर शत्रु समझ गए कि कोई साधारण योद्धा नहीं आया है।
