ताञ्शरान् संप्रचिक्षेप लक्ष्मणाय निशाचरः ।
तानप्राप्ताञ्शितैर्बाणैश्चिच्छेद भरतानुजः ॥६-७१-७०॥
tāñśarān saṃpracikṣepa lakṣmaṇāya niśācaraḥ |
tānaprāptāñśitairbāṇaiściccheda bharatānujaḥ ॥6-71-70॥
Translation
The night-ranger hurled those arrows at Lakshmana. The younger brother of Bharata cut them off with sharp arrows before they could reach him.
हिंदी अनुवाद
निशाचर (अतिकाय) ने वे बाण लक्ष्मण पर छोड़े। भरत के छोटे भाई (लक्ष्मण) ने उन बाणों को (अपने तक) पहुँचने से पहले ही तीखे बाणों से काट दिया।
English Commentary
Impenetrable defense. Lakshmana intercepts all five projectiles mid-flight. Calling him 'Bharatanuja' reinforces his righteous lineage opposing the demon.
हिंदी टीका
लक्ष्मण की फुर्ती। पाँचों बाणों को 'अप्राप्तान्' (पहुँचने से पहले) काट देना अद्भुत कौशल है। लक्ष्मण पूरी तरह नियंत्रण में हैं।
