ते बाणाः कालसंकाशा राक्षसेन्द्रधनुश्च्युताः ।
हेमपुङ्खा रविप्रख्याश्चकुर्दीप्तिमिवाम्बरे ॥६-७१-७९॥
te bāṇāḥ kālasaṃkāśā rākṣasendradhanuścyutāḥ |
hemapuṅkhā raviprakhyāścakurdīptimivāmbare ॥6-71-79॥
Translation
Those arrows released from the bow of the Rakshasa leader, resembling Death (Time), gold-feathered and shining like the sun, illuminated the sky.
हिंदी अनुवाद
राक्षसराज (के पुत्र) के धनुष से छूटे हुए वे काल के समान भयंकर, सोने के पंख वाले और सूर्य के समान तेजस्वी बाण आकाश में प्रकाश सा करने लगे।
English Commentary
The arrows are compared to 'Kala' (Death) and the 'Sun'. Their brilliance illuminates the sky. This imagery establishes the divine nature and lethal potential of Atikaya's weapons.
