YUDDHA KANDA•SARGA: 71•SHLOKA: 84
स चकार तदात्मानं विशल्यं सहसा विभुः ।
जग्राह च शरं तीक्ष्णं क्षेणापि च संदधे ॥६-७१-८४॥
sa cakāra tadātmānaṃ viśalyaṃ sahasā vibhuḥ |
jagrāha ca śaraṃ tīkṣṇaṃ kṣeṇāpi ca saṃdadhe ॥6-71-84॥
Translation
That capable one (Lakshmana) suddenly made himself free of the arrow (pulled it out). He then took a sharp arrow and fixed it in a moment.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस समर्थ (लक्ष्मण) ने सहसा अपने आप को विशल्य (बाण रहित) किया (बाण निकाल दिया)। और एक तीखा बाण लेकर एक क्षण में ही संधान कर लिया।
English Commentary
Lakshmana's endurance and capability ('vibhu') are amazing. Disregarding the wound, he instantly extracts the arrow and counters. This is the readiness of an ideal warrior.

लक्ष्मण जी की सहनशक्ति और 'विभु' (सामर्थ्य) अद्भुत है। वे घाव की परवाह किए बिना तुरंत बाण शरीर से निकालते हैं और प्रतिवार करते हैं। यह एक आदर्श योद्धा की तत्परता है।
