गगनं प्रतिपूर्णेन नभश्चन्द्रमसा यथा ।
अवीज्यत ततो वीरो हैमैर्हेमविभूषितैः ॥६-७३-१५॥
gaganaṃ pratipūrṇena nabhaścandramasā yathā |
avījyata tato vīro haimairhemavibhūṣitaiḥ ॥6-73-15॥
Translation
Just as the sky is adorned by the full moon, the hero was fanned with golden fans decorated with gold.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जैसे आकाश पूर्ण चन्द्रमा से सुशोभित होता है, वैसे ही वह वीर (इन्द्रजित) सोने के और सोने से विभूषित (चवरों) से पंखा झला जा रहा था।
English Commentary
Celestial imagery. Indrajit is the moon amidst the stars. The fanning with golden chowries adds to the splendor and regal atmosphere.

इन्द्रजित की तुलना पूर्ण चन्द्रमा से की गई है। चंवर डुलाने की प्रथा राजाओं के लिए होती है। यह युद्ध में जाने से पूर्व उसका गौरव गान है।
