अन्योन्यमुत्सृज्य समेत्य तूर्णं महारणे वानरवाहिनीषु ।
अदृश्यमानः शरजालमुग्रं ववर्ष नीलाम्बुधरो यथाम्बु ॥६-७३-५४॥
anyonyamutsṛjya sametya tūrṇaṃ mahāraṇe vānaravāhinīṣu |
adṛśyamānaḥ śarajālamugraṃ vavarṣa nīlāmbudharo yathāmbu ॥6-73-54॥
Translation
Invisible in the great battle, he rained a terrible net of arrows on the monkey armies, just as a blue cloud rains water. (Monkeys abandoned each other/clustered?)
हिंदी अनुवाद
महारण में वानर सेनाओं के ऊपर, अदृश्य रहते हुए उसने उग्र बाणों का जाल वैसे ही बरसाया जैसे नीला बादल पानी बरसाता है। (वानर) एक-दूसरे को छोड़कर (बिखर गए/पास आए?)।
English Commentary
Invisible bombardment. The simile of a rain cloud emphasizes the density and inevitability of the arrows coming from 'nowhere'.

अदृश्य वर्षा। जैसे बादल पानी बरसाता है, वैसे ही अदृश्य इन्द्रजित ने बाण बरसाए। वानर असहाय थे क्योंकि शत्रु दिख नहीं रहा था।
