ततो विषण्णं समवेक्ष्य सैन्यं विभीषणो बुद्धिमतां वरिष्ठः ।
उवाच शाखामृगराजवीरानाश्वासयन्नप्रतिमैर्वचोभिः ॥६-७४-२॥
tato viṣaṇṇaṃ samavekṣya sainyaṃ vibhīṣaṇo buddhimatāṃ variṣṭhaḥ |
uvāca śākhāmṛgarājavīrānāśvāsayannapratimairvacobhiḥ ॥6-74-2॥
Translation
Then, seeing the army despondent, Vibhishana, the best among the wise, spoke to the heroes of the monkey king, comforting them with incomparable words.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब सेना को विषादग्रस्त देखकर, बुद्धिमानों में श्रेष्ठ विभीषण ने वानरराज के वीरों को अनुपम वचनों से आश्वस्त करते हुए कहा।
English Commentary
Vibhishana plays the role of a true friend and advisor here. Being 'best among the wise', he focuses on solutions instead of panicking and boosts the morale of the desperate army.

विभीषण यहाँ एक सच्चे मित्र और सलाहकार की भूमिका निभाते हैं। 'बुद्धिमानों में श्रेष्ठ' होने के कारण वे घबराने के बजाय समाधान पर ध्यान देते हैं और हताश सेना का मनोबल बढ़ाते हैं।
