मा भैष्ट नास्त्यत्र विषादकालो यदार्यपुत्रौ ह्यवशौ विषण्णौ ।
स्वयम्भुवो वाक्यमथोद्वहन्तौ यत् सादिताविन्द्रजिदस्त्रजालैः ॥६-७४-३॥
mā bhaiṣṭa nāstyatra viṣādakālo yadāryaputrau hyavaśau viṣaṇṇau |
svayambhuvo vākyamathodvahantau yat sāditāvindrajidastrajālaiḥ ॥6-74-3॥
Translation
Do not fear! This is not the time for grief. The noble princes (Shri Rama and Lakshmana), who appear helpless and unconscious, have been bound by Indrajit's net of weapons only to honor the word of the Self-born (Brahma).
हिंदी अनुवाद
डरो मत! यह विषाद का समय नहीं है। आर्यपुत्र (श्री राम-लक्ष्मण) जो विवश और अचेत हैं, वे स्वयंभू (ब्रह्मा) के वचन का सम्मान करते हुए ही इन्द्रजीत के अस्त्रों के जाल में बंधे हैं।
English Commentary
Vibhishana reveals the secret that Shri Rama and Lakshmana are not weak but have voluntarily submitted to the Brahmastra to honor Brahma's boon. This explanation is crucial to remove guilt and fear from the monkeys' minds.
