महौषध्यस्ततः सर्वास्तस्मिन् पर्वतसत्तमे ।
विज्ञायार्थिनमायान्तं ततो जग्मुरदर्शनम् ॥६-७४-६४॥
mahauṣadhyastataḥ sarvāstasmin parvatasattame |
vijñāyārthinamāyāntaṃ tato jagmuradarśanam ॥6-74-64॥
Translation
Then, all those great herbs on that best of mountains, realizing that a seeker had arrived, became invisible.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब उस श्रेष्ठ पर्वत पर वे सभी महाऔषधियां, यह जानकर कि कोई अर्थी (याचक) आया है, अदृश्य हो गईं।
English Commentary
The herbs are sentient and sensitive. They hid themselves. This was a test for Hanuman.

औषधियाँ सजीव और संवेदनशील हैं। वे छिप गईं। यह हनुमान जी की परीक्षा थी।
