नानाविकृतसंस्थानं वाजिभाण्डपरिच्छदौ ।
गजग्रैवेयकक्ष्याश्च रथभाण्डाश्च संस्कृताः ॥६-७५-१०॥
nānāvikṛtasaṃsthānaṃ vājibhāṇḍaparicchadau |
gajagraiveyakakṣyāśca rathabhāṇḍāśca saṃskṛtāḥ ॥6-75-10॥
Translation
Various strange ornaments and trappings of horses, neck-chains and girths of elephants, and the well-maintained equipments of chariots were also being reduced to ashes.

घोड़ों के विविध प्रकार के विचित्र साजो-सामान, हाथियों के गले के आभूषण और रस्सियाँ तथा रथों के सुसज्जित उपकरण भी जलकर राख हो रहे थे।
English Commentary
The equipment of the fourfold Rakshasa army—elephants, horses, and chariots—is mentioned here. The word 'Samskritah' suggests they were meticulously maintained. The destruction of these trappings ensured that the Rakshasas could no longer conduct organized warfare. This marked the end of Lanka's military prestige, which relied heavily on its animals and machinery.

राक्षसी सेना के चतुरंगिणी अंगों—हाथी, घोड़े और रथ—की सज्जा का यहाँ उल्लेख है। 'संस्कृताः' शब्द का अर्थ है जो अत्यंत जतन से तैयार किए गए थे। इन उपकरणों का विनाश यह सुनिश्चित कर रहा था कि राक्षस अब सुगठित युद्ध करने की स्थिति में न रहें। यह लंका के सैन्य गौरव का अंत था, जो पशुओं और यंत्रों के माध्यम से संचालित होता था।
