विद्युद्भिरिव नद्धानि मेघजालानि धर्मगे ।
ज्वलनेन परीतानि निपेतुर्भवनान्यथ ॥६-७५-२२॥
vidyudbhiriva naddhāni meghajālānī dharmage |
jvalanena parītāni nipeturbhavanānyatha ॥6-75-22॥
Translation
Surrounded by flames, those buildings appeared like masses of clouds interlaced with lightning. Then, those mansions began to collapse.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अग्नि की लपटों से घिरे हुए वे भवन वैसे ही लग रहे थे जैसे बिजली से चमकते हुए बादलों के समूह हों। फिर वे भवन धूं-धूं कर गिरने लगे।
English Commentary
The combination of flames and buildings is compared here to lightning and clouds. Lightning during the heat ('Dharmage') is often a sign of impending dissolution. The collapse of the mansions ('Nipetuh') proves that Lanka's pride could no longer sustain its own weight. This scene symbolizes the end of physical constructs and the proclamation of Truth's victory.

यहाँ अग्नि और भवनों के मेल की तुलना बिजली और बादलों से की गई है। 'धर्मगे' (ग्रीष्म ऋतु या ताप के समय) बिजली का चमकना प्रलय का संकेत होता है। भवनों का गिरना (निपेतुः) यह सिद्ध करता है कि लंका का अहंकार अब अपने भार को नहीं संभाल पा रहा था। यह दृश्य भौतिक संरचनाओं के अंत और सत्य के विजय-घोष का प्रतीक है।
