कैलासशृङ्गप्रतिमं विकीर्णमपतद्भुवि ।
ततो रामशरान् दृष्ट्वा विमानेषु गृहेषु च ॥६-७५-३९॥
kailāsaśṛṅgapratimaṃ vikīrṇamapatad bhuvi |
tato rāmaśarān dṛṣṭvā vimāneṣu gṛheṣu ca ॥6-75-39॥
Translation
Which resembled a peak of Mount Kailash, shattered and fell to the ground. Then, seeing Shri Rama's arrows hitting the celestial mansions and houses—

कैलास पर्वत के शिखर के समान विशाल वह गोपुर टूटकर भूमि पर गिर पड़ा। फिर महलों और घरों में श्री राम के बाणों को गिरते देख—
English Commentary
The comparison to Mount Kailash illustrates the grandeur and height of the gate-tower. Its fall symbolizes the shattering of Ravana's pride. Shri Rama's arrows were now striking not just warriors but also the centers of Rakshasa luxury ('Vimana'). This sight proves that no place of unrighteousness is safe from His arrows.

कैलास पर्वत की उपमा गोपुर की भव्यता और उसकी ऊँचाई को दर्शाती है। उसका गिरना रावण के घमण्ड के चूर होने का प्रतीक है। श्री राम के बाण अब केवल योद्धाओं पर नहीं, बल्कि राक्षसों के विलासिता के केंद्रों (विमानों) पर भी प्रहार कर रहे थे। यह दृश्य सिद्ध करता है कि अधर्म का कोई भी स्थान श्री राम के बाणों से सुरक्षित नहीं है।
