तद्राक्षसबलं घोरं भीमविक्रमपौरुषम् ।
ददृशो ज्वलितप्रासं किङ्किणीशतनादितम् ॥६-७५-५५॥
tadrākṣasabalaṃ ghoraṃ bhīmavikramapauruṣam |
dadṛśo jvalitaprāsaṃ kiṅkiṇīśatanāditam ॥6-75-55॥
Translation
That terrifying Rakshasa army, possessed of fearsome prowess and manliness, was seen with its flaming lances and was resounding with the sound of hundreds of small bells.

राक्षसों की वह भयंकर सेना, जो भीम पराक्रम और पुरुषार्थ वाली थी, चमकते हुए प्रासों और सैकड़ों छोटी घंटियों (किंकिणी) के स्वर से गूँज रही थी।
English Commentary
Both the visual and auditory ('Sound') impact of the Rakshasa army are described here. The sound of 'Kinkini' (small bells) created a haunting music amidst the din of war. Their 'Bhima-Vikrama' (terrible prowess) recalled a history that made even the Gods tremble. This sight was enough to instill fear, but the Vanaras were now shielded by the radiance of Shri Rama.

राक्षसों की सेना का दृश्य और श्रव्य (Sound) प्रभाव यहाँ वर्णित है। 'किंकिणी' की आवाज़ युद्ध के कोलाहल में एक डरावना संगीत पैदा कर रही थी। उनका 'भीम-विक्रम' उनके उस इतिहास की याद दिलाता है जिससे देवता भी कांपते थे। यह दृश्य वानरों के मन में भय उत्पन्न करने के लिए पर्याप्त था, किन्तु वे अब श्री राम के तेज से सुरक्षित थे।
