तद्दृष्ट्वा बलमायान्तं राक्षसानां सुदारुणम् ।
सञ्चचाल प्लवङ्गानां बलमुच्चैर्ननाद च ॥६-७५-५८॥
taddṛṣṭvā balamāyāntaṃ rākṣasānāṃ sudāruṇam |
sañcacāla plavaṅgānāṃ balamuccaīrnanāda ca ॥6-75-58॥
Translation
The 'agitation' ('Sancacala') of the Vanara force reflects their alertness and response to the approaching threat. Roaring was their way of transforming apprehension into courage. This marks the beginning of the direct collision between the two armies. The Vanaras were no longer just arsonists; they now had to face Lanka's finest warriors head-on.
हिंदी अनुवाद
राक्षसों की उस अत्यंत भयंकर सेना को आते देख, वानरों की सेना में हलचल मच गई और वे जोर-जोर से गर्जना करने लगे।
हिंदी टीका
वानर सेना की 'हलचल' (सञ्चचाल) उनकी सजगता और आने वाले संकट के प्रति उनकी प्रतिक्रिया है। गर्जना करना (ननद) उनके डर को साहस में बदलने का तरीका था। यहाँ से दोनों सेनाओं के बीच होने वाले सीधे टकराव का क्षण आरम्भ होता है। वानर अब केवल आग नहीं लगा रहे थे, बल्कि उन्हें लंका के सर्वश्रेष्ठ योद्धाओं का सामना करना था।
