तथैवाप्यपरे तेषां कपीनामसिभिः शितैः ।
हरिवीरान्निजघ्नुश्च घोररूपा निशाचराः ॥६-७५-६५॥
tathaivāpyapare teṣāṃ kapīnāmasibhiḥ śitaīḥ |
harivīrānnijaghnuśca ghorarūpā niśācarāḥ ॥6-75-65॥
Translation
Likewise, those terrifying night-stalkers slaughtered the monkey-heroes with their sharp swords.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वैसे ही उन भयंकर रूप वाले निशाचरों ने अपनी तीखी तलवारों से वानर वीरों का संहार किया।
English Commentary
The Rakshasas were also inflicting heavy damage on the Vanara force with their sword-skills. The word 'Ghorarupah' reinforces their terrifying appearance and cruelty. This verse balances the narrative, showing that both sides were paying a heavy price in their pursuit of victory.

राक्षस भी अपनी तलवारों के कौशल से वानर सेना को भारी क्षति पहुँचा रहे थे। 'घोररूपाः' शब्द उनके डरावने स्वरूप और क्रूरता को पुष्ट करता है। यह श्लोक युद्ध के उस पक्ष को संतुलित करता है जहाँ विजय प्राप्त करने के लिए दोनों ही पक्ष भारी कीमत चुका रहे थे।
