तेषां गृहसस्राणि ददाह हुतभुक् तदा ।
प्रासादाः पर्वताकाराः पतन्ति धरणीतले ॥६-७५-७॥
teṣāṃ gṛhasahasrāṇi dadāha hutabhuk tadā |
prāsādāḥ parvatākārāḥ patanti dharaṇītale ॥6-75-7॥
Translation
At that time, the fire consumed thousands of houses belonging to the Rakshasas. Palaces as vast as mountains began to crumble and fall to the earth.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस समय अग्नि ने राक्षसों के हजारों घरों को जला दिया। पर्वत के समान विशाल महल टूट-टूट कर पृथ्वी पर गिरने लगे।
English Commentary
A vivid description of the fire's destructive power and the ruin of Lanka's architecture is presented here. The collapse of 'mountain-like palaces' is physical proof of the end of Lanka's golden era. The burning of thousands of homes indicates that no refuge remained secure. This scene embodies cosmic justice, where opulence earned through sin is ultimately reduced to dust.

अग्नि की संहारक शक्ति और लंका के स्थापत्य के विनाश का यहाँ जीवंत वर्णन है। 'पर्वत के समान महल' का गिरना लंका के स्वर्ण युग के अंत का भौतिक प्रमाण है। हज़ारों घरों का जलना यह बताता है कि कोई भी स्थान सुरक्षित नहीं बचा था। यह दृश्य ब्रह्मांडीय न्याय का रूप है, जहाँ पाप से अर्जित वैभव अंततः धूल में मिल जाता है।
