बलं राक्षसमालम्ब्य वानराः पर्यवारयन् ।
ववृधे तुमुलं युद्धं रक्षसां वानरैः सह ॥६-७५-७१॥
balaṃ rākṣasamālambya vānarāḥ paryavārayan |
vavṛdhe tumulaṃ yuddhaṃ rakṣasāṃ vānaraiḥ saha ॥6-75-71॥
Translation
Holding onto the Rakshasa force, the monkeys surrounded them from all sides. Thus, the tumultuous battle between the Rakshasas and monkeys continued to escalate.
हिंदी अनुवाद
राक्षस सेना को आधार बनाकर (घेरकर) वानरों ने उन्हें सब ओर से रोक लिया। इस प्रकार राक्षसों और वानरों के बीच वह तुमुल युद्ध निरंतर बढ़ता गया।
English Commentary
The sarga concludes with the continuity and escalating momentum of the war. 'Paryavarayan' (surrounding/besieging) highlights the Vanaras' superior tactical encirclement. The term 'Tumulam' encapsulates the uproar and carnage that made that night in Lanka the most terrifying in history. It was another link in the chain of the final confrontation between Dharma and Adharma.

सर्ग का समापन युद्ध की निरंतरता और उसके बढ़ते हुए वेग के साथ होता है। 'पयर्वारयन्' (चारों ओर से घेरना) वानरों की श्रेष्ठ घेराबंदी को दर्शाता है। 'तुमुलम्' शब्द उस कोलाहल और संहार को संकलित करता है जिसने लंका की उस रात्रि को इतिहास की सबसे भयानक रात्रि बना दिया। यह धर्म और अधर्म के अंतिम महामिलन की एक और कड़ी थी।
