प्रवृत्ते सङ्कुले तस्मिन् घोरे वीरजनक्षये ।
अङ्गदः कम्पनं वीरमाससाद रणोत्सुकः ॥६-७६-१॥
pravṛtte saṅkule tasmin ghore vīrajanakṣaye |
aṅgadaḥ kampanaṃ vīramāsasāda raṇotsukaḥ ॥6-76-1॥
Translation
When that terrible and chaotic battle, which caused the destruction of heroes, had commenced, Angada, eager for combat, encountered the heroic Rakshasa Kampana.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वीरों का क्षय करने वाले उस अत्यंत भयंकर और संकुल युद्ध के छिड़ जाने पर, युद्ध के लिए उत्सुक अंगद वीर राक्षस कम्पन के सम्मुख पहुँचे।
English Commentary
This verse describes the indomitable enthusiasm of the Vanara Prince Angada. As the battle intensifies and heroes fall on both sides, Angada remains 'Ranotsukah' (eager for battle), signifying his proactive stance in the defense of Dharma. His confrontation with a powerful Rakshasa like Kampana highlights his valor and unwavering dedication to Shri Rama's cause.

इस प्रसंग में वानर राजकुमार अंगद के अदम्य उत्साह का वर्णन है। युद्ध की विभीषिका अपने चरम पर है, जहाँ दोनों ओर के योद्धा काल का ग्रास बन रहे हैं। अंगद जी यहाँ 'रणोत्सुक' हैं, जिसका अर्थ है कि वे केवल बचाव नहीं कर रहे, बल्कि धर्म की रक्षा हेतु सक्रिय प्रहार के लिए उद्यत हैं। कम्पन जैसे दिग्गज राक्षस के विरुद्ध उनका खड़ा होना उनके शौर्य और श्री राम के प्रति उनकी अनन्य निष्ठा को प्रदर्शित करता है।
