त्रयाणां वानरेन्द्राणां त्रिभी राक्षसपुङ्गवैः ।
संसक्तानां महद्युद्धमभवद्रोमहर्षणम् ॥६-७६-१७॥
trayāṇāṃ vānarendrāṇāṃ tribhī rākṣasapuṅgavaiḥ |
saṃsaktānāṃ mahadyuddhamabhavadromaharṣaṇam ॥6-76-17॥
Translation
A hair-raising and great battle took place between those three monkey-chiefs and the three foremost Rakshasas who were engaged with each other.

उन तीन वानर श्रेष्ठों (अंगद, मैन्द, द्विविद) और तीन राक्षस वीरों (शोणिताक्ष, प्रजंघ, यूपाक्ष) के बीच रोंगटे खड़े कर देने वाला महान युद्ध हुआ।
English Commentary
This verse describes the three-on-three specific encounter as 'Romaharshanam' (hair-raising). It was a battle of commanders, not just soldiers. The best warriors from both sides were testing each other's limits. This scene represents one of the most intense and decisive points of the battlefield struggle.

यह श्लोक तीन-बनाम-तीन के इस विशिष्ट मुकाबले की भयंकरता को 'रोमहर्षणम्' कहता है। यह युद्ध केवल सैनिकों का नहीं बल्कि सेनापतियों का था। दोनों ओर के सर्वश्रेष्ठ योद्धा एक-दूसरे की शक्ति की परीक्षा ले रहे थे। यह दृश्य रणभूमि के सबसे तीव्र और निर्णायक संघर्षों में से एक था।
