रथानश्वान् द्रुमैः शैलैस्ते प्रचिक्षिपुराहवे ।
शरौधैः प्रतिचिच्छेद तान् यूपाक्षो निशाचरः ॥६-७६-१९॥
rathānaśvān drumaiḥ śailaiste pracikṣipurāhave |
śaraughaiḥ praticiccheda tān yūpākṣo niśācaraḥ ॥6-76-19॥
Translation
The monkeys hurled trees and rocks at the chariots and horses, but the night-stalker Yupaksha shattered them with his volleys of arrows.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वानरों ने रथों और घोड़ों पर वृक्षों और पर्वतों से प्रहार किया, किन्तु निशाचर यूपाक्ष ने अपने बाणों के समूह से उन्हें नष्ट कर दिया।
English Commentary
Yupaksha's archery proved to be a major obstacle for the Vanaras. He was intercepting and shattering the heavy rocks and trees thrown by the monkeys mid-air. This scene illustrates the technical superiority of the Rakshasas, who used their missiles to neutralize the Vanaras' physical strikes.

यूपाक्ष की धनुर्विद्या यहाँ वानरों के लिए बड़ी बाधा बन रही थी। वह हवा में ही वानरों द्वारा फेंके गए भारी पत्थरों और वृक्षों को काट रहा था। यह दृश्य युद्ध की तकनीकी श्रेष्ठता को दर्शाता है जहाँ राक्षस अपने अस्त्रों से वानरों के प्रहारों को निष्फल कर रहे थे।
