निपातितमहावीरां दृष्ट्वा रक्षश्चमूं ततः ।
कुम्भः प्रचक्रे तेजस्वी रणे कर्म सुदुष्करम् ॥६-७६-३७॥
nipātitamahāvīrāṃ dṛṣṭvā rakṣaçamūṃ tataḥ |
kumbhaḥ pracakre tejasvī raṇe karma suduṣkaram ॥6-76-37॥
Translation
Seeing the great warriors of the Rakshasa army fallen, the radiant Kumbha then performed exceedingly difficult and extraordinary deeds in the battle.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अपने बड़े-बड़े वीरों को धराशायी देख, तेजस्वी कुम्भ ने तब युद्ध में अत्यंत कठिन और अद्भुत कर्म करने आरम्भ किए।
English Commentary
Kumbha's activation on the battlefield was the last ray of hope for Lanka. The phrase 'Sudushkaram Karma' points toward his extraordinary valor and martial skill. He was poised to be as cataclysmic as his father, Kumbhakarna. This marks the beginning of an extremely difficult phase for the Vanara host.

कुम्भ का रणक्षेत्र में सक्रिय होना लंका के लिए अंतिम आशा की किरण था। 'सुकुष्करं कर्म' शब्द उसके असाधारण पराक्रम और युद्ध कौशल की ओर संकेत करते हैं। वह अपने पिता कुम्भकर्ण की भांति ही प्रलयंकारी सिद्ध होने वाला था। यहाँ से वानर सेना के लिए एक अत्यंत कठिन संघर्ष की शुरुआत होती है।
