सो ऽङ्गदं निशितैर्बाणैस्तदा विव्याध वेगितः ।
शरीरदारणैस्तीक्ष्णैः कालाग्निसमविग्रहैः ॥६-७६-५॥
so 'ṅgadaṃ niśitairbāṇaistadā vivyādha vegitaḥ |
śarīradāraṇaistīkṣṇaiḥ kālāgnisamavigrahaiḥ ॥6-76-5॥
Translation
That Shonitaksha swiftly pierced Angada with sharp arrows. Those shafts were capable of tearing the body and were as terrible as the fire of dissolution (Kalagni).
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस शोणिताक्ष ने बड़े वेग के साथ अंगद को तीखे बाणों से बेध दिया। वे बाण शरीर को विदीर्ण करने वाले और प्रलय की अग्नि (कालाग्नि) के समान भयंकर थे।
English Commentary
Shonitaksha resorts to missile warfare here. The epithets 'Shariradaranaih' (body-tearing) and 'Kalagnisama' (like the fire of cosmic dissolution) describe the lethality of the arrows and the impact of demonic incantations. Angada now faces a fierce volley of arrows, signaling the escalating intensity of the duel.

शोणिताक्ष ने यहाँ अस्त्र-युद्ध का सहारा लिया है। 'शरीरदारणैः' (शरीर फाड़ने वाले) और 'कालाग्निसम' (प्रलय की अग्नि जैसे) विशेषण उन बाणों की मारक क्षमता और राक्षसी मन्त्रों के प्रभाव को दर्शाते हैं। अंगद जी को यहाँ अस्त्रों की भीषण वर्षा का सामना करना पड़ रहा है, जो युद्ध की बढ़ती हुई तीव्रता का संकेत है।
