Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
अन्योन्यगात्रग्रथितौ कर्षन्तावितरेतरम् ।
सधूमां मुखतो ज्वालां विसृजन्तौ परिश्रमात् ॥६-७६-८२॥
anyonyagātragrathitau karṣantāvitaretaram |
sadhūmāṃ mukhato jvālāṃ visṛjantau pariśramāt ॥6-76-82॥
Translation
Locked together by their limbs, they were dragging each other. Due to the extreme exertion, they were emitting flames along with smoke from their mouths.
हिंदी अनुवाद
एक-दूसरे के अंगों में गुथे हुए वे दोनों एक-दूसरे को खींच रहे थे। अत्यधिक परिश्रम के कारण उनके मुख से धुएँ के साथ ज्वालाएँ निकल रही थीं।
English Commentary
The battle is now at its peak physical limit. The term 'Gatragrathitau' (locked by limbs) describes the firmness of their hold. Emitting flames from the mouth symbolizes their internal heat and immense life-force. This scene portrays the collision of human and demonic energies where physical boundaries dissolve.

युद्ध अब अपनी चरम शारीरिक सीमा पर है। 'गात्रग्रथितौ' (अंगों का गुथ जाना) शब्द उनकी जकड़ की मजबूती को बताता है। मुख से ज्वाला निकलना उनके आंतरिक ताप और प्रचंड प्राण-शक्ति का प्रतीक है। यह दृश्य मानवीय और राक्षसी ऊर्जा के उस टकराव को चित्रित करता है जहाँ शरीर की सीमाएं समाप्त हो जाती हैं।
