Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
तयोः पादाभिघाताच्च निमग्ना चाभवन्मही ।
व्याघूर्णिततरङ्गश्च चुक्षुभे वरुणालयः ॥६-७६-८३॥
tayoḥ pādābhighātācca nimagnā cābhavanmahī |
vyāghūrṇitātaraṅgaśca cukṣubhe varuṇālayaḥ ॥6-76-83॥
Translation
Due to the impact of their feet, the earth began to sink, and the ocean (Varunalaya) with its swirling waves became agitated.

उनके पैरों के प्रहार से पृथ्वी धँसने लगी और चंचल लहरों वाला समुद्र (वरुणालय) भी क्षुब्ध हो उठा।
English Commentary
The pressure from the warriors' feet was so great that 'the earth sank' ('Nimagna'), testifying to their massive weight and force. The agitation of the ocean ('Cukshubhe') signifies the cosmic impact of the struggle. Nature itself trembled at the conflict between these two supreme powers, revealing the vast scale of the battle.

योद्धाओं के पैरों का दबाव इतना अधिक था कि 'पृथ्वी धँस गई' (निमग्ना)। यह उनके भीमकाय भार और बल का प्रमाण है। समुद्र का क्षुब्ध होना (चुक्षुभे) युद्ध के ब्रह्मांडीय प्रभाव को दर्शाता है। प्रकृति भी इन दो महाशक्तियों के संघर्ष से कांप रही थी। यह दृश्य युद्ध की विशालता को प्रकट करता है।
