दुरासदश्च सञ्जज्ञे परिघाभरणप्रभः ।
कपीनां स निकुम्भाग्निर्युगान्ताग्निरिवोत्थितः ॥६-७७-१०॥
durāsadaśca sañjajñe parighābharaṇaprabhaḥ |
kapīnāṃ sa nikumbhāgniryugāntāgnirivotthitaḥ ॥6-77-10॥
Translation
That Nikumbha-fire, glowing with the club and ornaments, became unassailable to the monkeys, rising like the fire at the end of the age.
हिंदी अनुवाद
परिघ और आभूषणों की प्रभा वाला वह निकुम्भ रूपी अग्नि, वानरों के लिए प्रलयकाल की अग्नि (युगांताग्नि) के समान दुर्धर्ष (जिसके पास जाना कठिन हो) हो गया।
English Commentary
Nikumbha now appears like Death incarnate (fire of dissolution). It became impossible for the monkeys to face him.
हिंदी टीका
निकुम्भ अब साक्षात मृत्यु (प्रलय की आग) जैसा लग रहा है। वानरों के लिए उसका सामना करना असंभव हो गया।
