सतारग्रहनक्षत्रं सचन्द्रं समहाग्रहम् ।
निकुम्भपरिघाघूर्णं भ्रमतीव नभस्स्थलम् ॥६-७७-९॥
satāragrahanakṣatraṃ sacandraṃ samahāgraham |
nikumbhaparighāghūrṇaṃ bhramatīva nabhassthalam ॥6-77-9॥
Translation
...the sky, with its stars, planets, constellations, moon, and great planets, seemed to spin due to the whirling of Nikumbha's iron club.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...तारों, ग्रहों, नक्षत्रों, चन्द्रमा और महाग्रहों सहित आकाश मंडल निकुम्भ के परिघ के घूमने से घूमता हुआ सा प्रतीत होने लगा।
English Commentary
Description of an illusion. The club was spinning so fast that observers felt the entire celestial sphere was rotating.
