निकुम्भो भूषणैर्भाति तेन स्म परिघेण च ।
यथेन्द्रधनुषा मेघः सविद्युत् स्तनयित्नुमान् ॥६-७७-६॥
nikumbho bhūṣaṇairbhāti tena sma parigheṇa ca |
yathendradhanuṣā meghaḥ savidyut stanayitnumān ॥6-77-6॥
Translation
...Nikumbha shone with those ornaments and that iron club like a thundering cloud accompanied by a rainbow and lightning.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...निकुम्भ उन आभूषणों और उस परिघ के साथ वैसा ही सुशोभित हो रहा था, जैसे इन्द्रधनुष और बिजली से युक्त गरजता हुआ बादल।
English Commentary
Beautiful simile—Nikumbha is the dark cloud, his ornaments are the rainbow and lightning, and his roar is the thunder.
