अद्य गन्तास्मि वैरस्य पारं वै रजनीचरः ।
सुहृदां चैव सर्वेषां निहतानां रणाजिरे ॥६-७९-११॥
adya gantāsmi vairasya pāraṃ vai rajanīcaraḥ |
suhṛdāṃ caiva sarveṣāṃ nihatānāṃ raṇājire ॥6-79-11॥
Translation
Today, as a night-stalker, I shall certainly reach the end of this enmity and avenge all my friends who were slain on the battlefield.
हिंदी अनुवाद
आज मैं उस बैर का अंत कर दूँगा और उन सभी मित्रों का भी बदला लूँगा जो युद्धभूमि में मारे गए हैं।
English Commentary
Makaraksha declares his life's mission as reaching the 'end of enmity' (Vairasya Param). He fights not just for his father but for the entire destroyed Rakshasa kin. This reflects the tribalistic loyalty of the demons, limited to their own group. His vow is a boast intended to establish himself as a formidable force capable of final retribution.

मकराक्ष यहाँ अपने जीवन के उद्देश्य को 'वैरस्य पारम्' (शत्रुता का अंत) के रूप में घोषित करता है। वह न केवल अपने पिता के लिए, बल्कि अपने कुल के सभी नष्ट हुए राक्षसों के लिए लड़ रहा है। यह असुरों की उस संकुचित निष्ठा को दर्शाता है जो केवल अपने समूह तक सीमित है। वह अपनी प्रतिज्ञा से स्वयं को अत्यंत शक्तिशाली सिद्ध करना चाहता है।
