तान् शरान् शरवर्षेण रामश्चिच्छेद नैकधा ।
निपेतुर्भुवि ते च्छिन्ना रुक्मपुङ्खाः सहस्रशः ॥६-७९-३०॥
tān śarān śaravarṣeṇa rāmaściccheda naikadhā |
nipeturbhuvi te cchinnā rukmapuṅkhāḥ sahasraśaḥ ॥6-79-30॥
Translation
Shri Rama shattered those arrows into many pieces with His own rain of shafts. Thousands of those gold-feathered arrows fell severed to the ground.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन बाणों को श्री राम ने अपनी बाण-वर्षा से कई टुकड़ों में काट दिया। सोने के पंखों वाले वे हजारों बाण कटकर पृथ्वी पर गिर पड़े।
English Commentary
Shri Rama's mastery of archery is evident here. He neutralizes the enemy's strikes in mid-air before they can reach Him. The shattering of 'Rukmapunkhah' (gold-feathered) arrows symbolizes the dismantling of Rakshasa grandeur. This scene reveals the Lord's infallible weapon-handling and His absolute defensive power.

श्री राम की धनुर्विद्या की निपुणता यहाँ स्पष्ट है। वे शत्रु के प्रहारों को उनके पास पहुँचने से पहले ही हवा में नष्ट कर रहे थे। 'रुक्मपुङ्खाः' (सोने के पंख वाले) बाणों का कटना राक्षसी वैभव के टूटने का प्रतीक है। यह दृश्य श्री राम के अमोघ अस्त्र-संचालन और उनकी अचूक रक्षा शक्ति को प्रकट करता है।
