Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
तद्युद्धमभवत्तत्र समेत्यान्योन्यमोजसा ।
रक्षसः खरपुत्रस्य सूनोर्दशरथस्य च ॥६-७९-३१॥
tadyuddhamabhavat tatra sametyānyonyamojasā |
rakṣasaḥ kharaputrasya sūnordaśarathasya ca ॥6-79-31॥
Translation
There, a fierce battle took place between the son of Khara (Makaraksha) and the son of Dasharatha (Shri Rama), both meeting each other with all their might.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वहाँ खर के पुत्र (मकराक्ष) और दशरथ नन्दन (श्री राम) के बीच अपनी-अपनी पूरी शक्ति के साथ घोर युद्ध हुआ।
English Commentary
This is a monumental clash between the heirs of two opposing lineages. On one side is Makaraksha, carrying the legacy of unrighteousness, and on the other is Shri Rama, the embodiment of Dharma. The word 'Ojasa' signifies the collision of their physical and spiritual energies as the duel reaches its turning point.

यह दो राजवंशों के उत्तराधिकारियों के बीच का महासंग्श्री राम है। एक ओर अधर्म की विरासत को ढो रहा मकराक्ष है और दूसरी ओर साक्षात् धर्मस्वरूप श्री राम। 'ओजसा' शब्द उनके शारीरिक और आध्यात्मिक बल के टकराव को दर्शाता है। यह द्वंद्व अब अपने निर्णायक मोड़ की ओर बढ़ रहा है।
