Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
देवदानवगन्धर्वाः किन्नराश्च महोरगाः ।
अन्तरिक्षगताः सर्वे द्रष्टुकामास्तदद्भुतम् ॥६-७९-३३॥
devadānavagandharvāḥ kinnarāśca mahoragāḥ |
antarikṣagatāḥ sarve draṣṭukāmās tadadbhutam ॥6-79-33॥
Translation
Stationed in the sky, the Gods, Demons, Gandharvas, Kinnaras, and great Nagas—they all gathered there, desiring to witness that wonderful battle.
हिंदी अनुवाद
आकाश में स्थित देवता, दानव, गन्धर्व, किन्नर और बड़े-बड़े नाग—वे सभी उस अद्भुत युद्ध को देखने की इच्छा से वहाँ एकत्रित हुए।
English Commentary
This verse highlights the universal significance of the battle. It was not merely a terrestrial conflict; the entire sentient cosmos was watching. The word 'Adbhutam' (wonderful/miraculous) reflects the extraordinary skill and thrill of the combat. The presence of celestial beings proves that every action of Shri Rama is a step in the process of cosmic restoration.

यह श्लोक युद्ध के सार्वभौमिक महत्व को दर्शाता है। यह केवल पृथ्वी का युद्ध नहीं था, बल्कि सम्पूर्ण चराचर जगत इसकी ओर देख रहा था। 'अद्भुतम्' शब्द युद्ध के असाधारण कौशल और रोमांच को प्रकट करता है। दिव्य शक्तियों का उपस्थित होना यह सिद्ध करता है कि श्री राम की हर लीला ब्रह्मांडीय सुधार की एक प्रक्रिया है।
