विभ्राम्य तु महच्छूलं प्रज्वलत्तन्निशाचरः ।
स क्रोधात् प्राहिणोत्तस्मै राघवाय महाहवे ॥६-७९-४०॥
vibhrāmya tu macchūlaṃ prajvalat tanniśācaraḥ |
sa krodhāt prāhiṇot tasmai rāghavāya mahāhave ॥6-79-40॥
Translation
The night-stalker brandished that blazing, great trident and, in his fury, hurled it at Shri Rama in the great battle.

उस निशाचर ने उस जलते हुए महान शूल को (हाथ में) घुमाया और क्रोधपूर्वक उसे महायुद्ध में श्री रघुनाथ जी पर छोड़ दिया।
English Commentary
Brandishing the trident ('Vibhramya') is a technique to infuse the weapon with massive kinetic energy. The word 'Prajvalat' (blazing) indicates that the missile was consecrated with dark mantras and was intensely combustible. Makaraksha channeled all his hatred and strength into this single hurl, creating one of the most tense moments of the duel.

शूल को घुमाना (विभ्श्री राम्य) उसमें प्रचंड गतिज ऊर्जा भरने की एक तकनीक है। 'पज्वलत्' (जलते हुए) शब्द यह सूचित करता है कि वह अस्त्र मंत्रों से अभिमंत्रित और अत्यंत ज्वलनशील था। मकराक्ष ने अपनी पूरी घृणा और शक्ति इस एक प्रहार में झोंक दी थी। यह दृश्य युद्ध के सबसे तनावपूर्ण क्षणों में से एक है।
