सर्वाम् सागर पर्यन्ताम् सशैल वन काननाम् ।
करोमि अवानराम् भूमिम् आज्ञापयतु माम् भवान् ॥६-८-४॥
sarvāṃ sāgaraparyantāṃ saśailavanakānanām । karomyavanarāṃ bhūmimājñāpayatu māṃ bhavān ॥6-8-4॥
Translation
I shall make the entire earth, up to the ocean, including mountains, forests, and groves, devoid of monkeys. Command me, Sir.
हिंदी अनुवाद
पर्वतों, वनों और काननों सहित सागर तक की पूरी पृथ्वी को मैं वानर-हीन (वानरों से रहित) कर दूँगा; आप मुझे आज्ञा दीजिये।
English Commentary
A pledge of genocide. Prahasta promises to wipe out the monkey race ('avanaram bhumim') from the entire globe. This hyperbole is meant to demonstrate his loyalty and ferocity. He asks for the order ('ajnapayatu') to unleash this terror.

जाति-संहार (Genocide) की धमकी। प्रहस्त केवल श्री राम की सेना को नहीं, बल्कि पूरी पृथ्वी के वानरों को खत्म करने की बात करता है। 'वानर-हीन' पृथ्वी का संकल्प उसके क्रूर स्वभाव को दिखाता है।
