प्रदक्षिणावर्तशिखस्तप्तहाटकसन्निभः ।
हविस्तत् प्रतिजग्राह पावकः स्वयमुत्थितः ॥६-८०-१०॥
pradakṣiṇāvartaśikhastaptahāṭakasannibhaḥ |
havistat pratijagrāha pāvakaḥ svayamutthitaḥ ॥6-80-10॥
Translation
The Fire God rose up in person. His flame turned towards the right, resembling molten gold, and He accepted that offering.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अग्निदेव स्वयं ऊपर उठे। उनकी शिखा दाहिनी ओर घूम रही थी और उनका वर्ण तपाये हुए सोने के समान था। उन्होंने वह हवि स्वीकार कर ली।
English Commentary
This was a massive achievement for Indrajit. The flame turning right is considered a highly auspicious omen. The manifestation of the Fire God Himself proves that Indrajit had successfully completed his ritual. This scene rings alarm bells for Shri Rama and Lakshmana, as Indrajit is now about to enter the battlefield empowered by divine energy. The Ramayana illustrates here that even an enemy, if they worship with proper procedure, reaps the fruits of their actions.

यह इन्द्रजीत के लिए एक बड़ी उपलब्धि थी। अग्नि की शिखा का दाहिनी ओर मुड़ना अत्यंत शुभ शकुन माना जाता है। अग्निदेव का स्वयं प्रकट होना यह सिद्ध करता है कि इन्द्रजीत ने अपनी साधना पूर्ण कर ली थी। यह दृश्य श्री राम और लक्ष्मण के लिए खतरे की घंटी है, क्योंकि अब इन्द्रजीत दैवीय शक्ति से संपन्न होकर युद्धभूमि में उतरने वाला है। श्री रामायण में यह दिखाया गया है कि शत्रु भी यदि विधिपूर्वक उपासना करे, तो उसे फल मिलता है।
