नैव ज्यातलनिर्घोषो न च नेमिखुरस्वनः ।
शश्रुवे चरतस्तस्य न च रूपं प्रकाशते ॥६-८०-२६॥
naiva jyātanirghoṣo na ca nemikhurasvanaḥ |
śaśruve caratastasya na ca rūpaṃ prakāśate ॥6-80-26॥
Translation
Neither the twang of his bowstring, nor the sound of his chariot wheels or hooves was heard as he moved, nor was his form visible.
हिंदी अनुवाद
विचरते हुए उस (इन्द्रजीत) की न तो प्रत्यंचा की टंकार सुनाई देती थी, न पहियों या घोड़ों के खुरों की आवाज़, और न ही उसका रूप दिखाई देता था।
English Commentary
This is a remarkable example of Silent Warfare. Usually, chariot wheels and horses make noise, but Indrajit's illusion was so potent that it suppressed sound as well. This was the greatest challenge for Shri Rama and Lakshmana—fighting an enemy without sight or sound. This verse represents the pinnacle of Indrajit's magical powers.

यह निशब्द युद्ध (Silent Warfare) का एक अद्भुत उदाहरण है। सामान्यतः रथ के पहियों और घोड़ों की आवाज़ होती है, लेकिन इन्द्रजीत की माया इतनी प्रबल थी कि उसने ध्वनि को भी दबा दिया था। यह श्री राम और लक्ष्मण के लिए सबसे बड़ी चुनौती थी—बिना देखे और बिना सुने शत्रु का सामना करना। यह श्लोक इन्द्रजीत की मायावी शक्ति की पराकाष्ठा है।
