यद्येष भूमिं विशते दिवं वा रसातलं वापि नभस्स्थलं वा ।
एवं निगूढो ऽपि ममास्त्रदग्धः पतिष्यते भूमितले गतासुः ॥६-८०-४२॥
yadyeṣa bhūmiṃ viśate divaṃ vā rasātalaṃ vāpi nabhassthalaṃ vā |
evaṃ nigūḍho 'pi mamāstradagdhaḥ patiṣyate bhūmitale gatāsuḥ ॥6-80-42॥
Translation
Whether he enters the earth, the heavens, the netherworld (Rasatala), or the sky; even if hidden thus, burnt by my weapons, he shall fall dead to the ground.
हिंदी अनुवाद
चाहे यह पृथ्वी में प्रवेश कर जाए, या स्वर्ग में, या पाताल में, या आकाश में ही क्यों न हो; इस प्रकार छिपा होने पर भी मेरे अस्त्रों से जलकर यह प्राण रहित होकर पृथ्वी पर गिर पड़ेगा।
English Commentary
This is Lord Shri Rama's vow. When Shri Rama takes a resolve, it is unshakeable. He warns Indrajit that no corner of the universe can hide him from Shri Rama's arrows. The phrase 'mamastradagdhah' (burnt by my weapons) reveals Shri Rama's confidence and power. Indrajit's end is now certain.

यह भगवान श्री राम की प्रतिज्ञा है। जब श्री राम संकल्प लेते हैं, तो वह अटल होता है। वे इन्द्रजीत को चेतावनी दे रहे हैं कि ब्रह्मांड का कोई भी कोना उसे श्री राम के बाणों से नहीं बचा सकता। 'ममास्त्रदग्धः' (मेरे अस्त्रों से जला हुआ) वाक्यांश श्री राम के आत्मविश्वास और शक्ति को प्रकट करता है। अब इन्द्रजीत का अंत निश्चित है।
