Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
सो ऽर्चिःपिनद्धो ददृशे होमशोणिततर्पितः ।
सन्ध्यागत इवादित्यः सुतीव्रो ऽग्निः समुत्थितः ॥६-८२-२७॥
so 'rciḥpinaddho dadṛśe homaśoṇitatarpitaḥ |
sandhyāgata ivādityaḥ sutīvro 'gniḥ samutthitaḥ ॥6-82-27॥
Translation
Satiated by the blood offered as an oblation and surrounded by flames, that intensely fierce fire appeared like the setting sun at twilight.
हिंदी अनुवाद
होम किए गए रक्त से तृप्त वह अत्यंत तीव्र अग्नि ज्वालाओं से घिरी हुई ऐसी दिखाई दे रही थी, मानो अस्त होता हुआ सूर्य हो।
English Commentary
The color and ferocity of the fire are described here. Due to the blood, the redness of the flames resembled the 'setting sun.' This analogy may also hint at the evening of Lanka's destruction. This 'intensely fierce' fire was the physical manifestation of Indrajit's destructive energy. The sight is terrifying and reveals the peak of demonic power.

यहाँ अग्नि के रंग और उसकी भयंकरता का वर्णन है। रक्त के कारण अग्नि की लालिमा 'सन्ध्यागत आदित्य' (डूबते सूर्य) के समान लग रही थी। यह उपमा लंका के विनाश की शाम का भी संकेत हो सकती है। यह 'सुतीव्र' अग्नि इन्द्रजित की विनाशकारी ऊर्जा का भौतिक स्वरूप थी। यह दृश्य डरावना होने के साथ-साथ अधर्म की चरम शक्ति को भी प्रकट करता है।
