Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
ऋक्षाराजस्तथोक्तस्तु स्वेनानीकेन संवृतः ।
आगच्छत् पश्चिमं द्वारं हनुमान् यत्र वानरः ॥६-८३-४॥
ṛkṣarājastathoktastu svenānīkena saṃvṛtaḥ |
āgacchat paścimaṃ dvāraṃ hanumān yatra vānaraḥ ॥6-83-4॥
Translation
Being thus commanded, Jambavan, the King of the bears, accompanied by his army, proceeded to the western gate where the monkey Hanuman was stationed.
हिंदी अनुवाद
श्री राम के ऐसा कहने पर ऋक्षराज जाम्बवान अपनी सेना के साथ उस पश्चिमी द्वार की ओर चल दिए, जहाँ वानर हनुमान युद्ध कर रहे थे।
English Commentary
Jambavan's immediate departure reveals his dedication to duty. He holds Shri Rama's command as supreme. The western gate was a critical front in the siege of Lanka. This verse demonstrates the seamless coordination between the Vanara and Riksha forces. Jambavan's advancement was poised to bring a new strategic balance to the ongoing conflict.

जाम्बवान जी का त्वरित प्रस्थान उनकी कर्तव्यनिष्ठा को प्रकट करता है। वे श्री राम की आज्ञा को सर्वोपरि मानते हैं। पश्चिमी द्वार लंका का एक महत्वपूर्ण मोर्चा था। यह श्लोक वानर और ऋक्ष सेना के बीच के समन्वय को दर्शाता है। जाम्बवान का आगे बढ़ना युद्ध में एक नया संतुलन पैदा करने वाला था।
