अथायान्तं हनूमन्तं ददर्शर्क्षपतिः पथि ।
वानरैः कृतसङ्ग्रामैः श्वसद्भिरभिसंवृतम् ॥६-८३-५॥
athāyāntaṃ hanūmantaṃ dadarśarkṣapatiḥ pathi |
vānaraiḥ kṛtasaṅgrāmaiḥ śvasadbhirabhisarṃvṛtaḥ ॥6-83-5॥
Translation
Then the King of the bears saw Hanuman approaching on the path, surrounded by monkeys who were breathing heavily after having engaged in battle.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब ऋक्षराज ने मार्ग में हनुमान जी को आते देखा, जिन्हें युद्ध करके थककर लंबी सांसें लेते हुए वानरों ने घेर रखा था।
English Commentary
Meeting Hanuman on the path and seeing the exhausted monkeys reflects the sheer intensity and labor of the war. The word 'Shvasadbhih' (breathing heavily) brings the physical fatigue of the warriors to life. Hanuman was leading His troops back, a result of the profound psychological trauma of witnessing the illusory slaughter of Sita. This scene is a bridge between martial fervor and deep dejection.

मार्ग में हनुमान जी का मिलना और वानरों का थका होना युद्ध की भयंकरता और श्रम को दर्शाता है। 'श्वसद्भिः' (सांस लेते हुए) शब्द योद्धाओं की शारीरिक थकावट को सजीव कर देता है। हनुमान जी यहाँ अपनी सेना को वापस ला रहे थे, जो एक बड़े मानसिक आघात (माया सीता का वध) का परिणाम था। यह दृश्य उत्साह और अवसाद के बीच की एक कड़ी है।
