ससैन्यास्तत्र गच्छामो यावत्तन्न समाप्यते ।
त्यजेमं नरशार्दूल मिथ्यासन्तापमागतम् ॥६-८४-१६॥
sasainyāstatra gacchāmo yāvattanna samāpyate |
tyajemaṃ naraśārdūla mithyāsantāpamāgatam ॥6-84-16॥
Translation
O tiger among men (Shri Rama)! Let us go there with our army before that sacrifice is completed. Cast off this false and unfounded grief that has come upon You.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे पुरुषों में सिंह के समान श्री राम! जब तक वह यज्ञ समाप्त नहीं होता, हम अपनी सेना के साथ वहाँ चलते हैं। आप इस झूठे और व्यर्थ के शोक को त्याग दीजिये।
English Commentary
Vibhishana calls for immediate action. By addressing Shri Rama as 'Narashardula' (tiger among men), he attempts to reawaken the Lord's dormant valor. The phrase 'Mithya-santapam' is a powerful intervention; carrying a grief not based on truth is futile. Vibhishana's words are designed to instill a sense of duty, suggesting a battle cry instead of further lamentation.

विभीषण जी यहाँ सक्रियता (Action) का आह्वान कर रहे हैं। वे श्री राम को 'नरशार्दूल' कहकर उनके सोए हुए शौर्य को जगाने का प्रयास करते हैं। 'मिथ्या-सन्तापम्' शब्द अत्यंत कड़ा प्रहार है—वह दुःख जो सत्य पर आधारित नहीं है, उसे ढोना व्यर्थ है। विभीषण की यह वाणी कर्तव्य के प्रति जागरूकता पैदा करने वाली है। वे शोक के स्थान पर रण-घोष का सुझाव दे रहे हैं।
