Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
नानाप्रहरणैर्वीरैश्चतुर्भिः सचिवैर्वृतः ।
नीलाञ्जनचयाकारैर्मातङ्गैरिव यूथपः ॥६-८४-२॥
nānāpraharaṇairvīraiścaturbhiḥ sacivairvṛtaḥ |
nīlāñjanacayākārairmātaṅgairiva yūthapaḥ ॥6-84-2॥
Translation
He was surrounded by his four heroic ministers, who were armed with various weapons and resembled mountain-like elephants of the color of black collyrium, looking like a leader of a herd among his followers.

वे अनेक प्रकार के अस्त्र-शस्त्र धारण करने वाले अपने वीर चार मंत्रियों से घिरे हुए थे और काजल के ढेर के समान विशाल शरीर वाले हाथियों के बीच खडे़ यूथपति (हाथियों के राजा) के समान लग रहे थे।
English Commentary
The physical stature and might of Vibhishana's ministers are vividly portrayed here. Described as 'Nilanjanachayakara' (massive like heaps of black collyrium), their appearance reinforces their demonic strength used in the service of righteousness. The analogy of a 'Yuthapa' (herd leader) illustrates Vibhishana's authority and the loyalty of his aides. This scene depicts a sturdy and disciplined force within the Vanara army, representing the light of Dharma emerging from the very heart of the Rakshasa race.
