इत्येवं विहितो राजन् वधस्तस्यैष धीमतः ।
वधायेन्द्रजितो राम सन्दिशस्व महाबल ॥६-८५-१६॥
ityevaṃ vihito rājan vadhastasyaīṣa dhīmataḥ |
vadhāyendrajito rāma sandiśasva mahābala ॥6-85-16॥
Translation
O King! Such is the decree ordained for the death of that intelligent Rakshasa. O mighty Shri Rama! Give the command for the slaying of Indrajit.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे राजन्! उस बुद्धिमान राक्षस के वध का यही विधान निश्चित किया गया है। हे महाबली श्री राम! इन्द्रजित के वध के लिए आप तुरंत आज्ञा दीजिये।
English Commentary
Vibhishana reminds Shri Rama of His responsibility as King and Commander by asking Him to 'issue the command.' He acknowledges Indrajit's capability by calling him 'Dhimatah' (intelligent), yet points out that his end is ordained by 'Vidhi' (destiny/procedure). This verse signals the shift from strategy to implementation.

विभीषण जी श्री राम को 'सन्दिशस्व' (आदेश दें) कहकर उनके राजा और सेनापति होने के उत्तरदायित्व को याद दिला रहे हैं। वे इन्द्रजित को 'धीमतः' (बुद्धिमान) कहकर उसके सामर्थ्य को स्वीकार करते हैं, किन्तु 'विधि' (विधान) के द्वारा उसकी हार निश्चित बताते हैं। यह श्लोक रणनीति से क्रियान्वयन (Implementation) की ओर बढ़ने का संकेत है।
