करोत्यसञ्ज्ञान् सङ्ग्रामे देवान् सवरुणानपि ।
तस्यान्तरिक्षे चरतो रथस्थस्य महायशः ॥६-८५-१९॥
karotyasañjñān saṅgrāme devān savaruṇānapi |
tasyāntarikṣe carato rathasthasya mahāyaśaḥ ॥6-85-19॥
Translation
He renders even the Gods, including Varuna, unconscious in battle. O highly illustrious one! Of him who moves in the sky and stays on his chariot—

वह युद्ध में वरुण सहित देवताओं को भी संज्ञाहीन (मूर्छित) कर देता है। हे महान यशस्वी विभीषण! आकाश में विचरते हुए और रथ पर बैठे हुए उसकी—
English Commentary
Indrajit's power is contextualized here through his victories over major deities like Varuna. His invisibility and ability to fly made him an exceptionally difficult target. Shri Rama is aware of all this, yet He remains unperturbed, focusing on analysis to provide the right instructions to Shri Lakshmana.

इन्द्रजित की शक्ति का विस्तार यहाँ देवताओं (वरुण आदि) के संदर्भ में बताया गया है। उसकी 'अदृश्यता' और 'आकाश-गमन' उसे एक अत्यंत कठिन लक्ष्य बनाते थे। श्री राम यह सब जानते हैं, फिर भी वे विचलित नहीं हैं। वे केवल स्थिति का विश्लेषण कर रहे हैं ताकि श्री लक्ष्मण जी को सही निर्देश दे सकें।
