न गतिर्ज्ञायते तस्य सूर्यस्येवाभ्रसम्प्लवे ।
राघवस्तु रिपोर्ज्ञात्वामायावीर्यं दुरात्मनः ॥६-८५-२०॥
na gatirjñāyate tasya sūryasyevābhra samplave |

English Commentary
The analogy of the sun and clouds clarifies Indrajit's clandestine tactics. He was a master of darkness and disguise. Shri Rama calls him 'Duratman' (evil-souled) because he misused his powers for unrighteousness. Having understood the full extent of the enemy's strength, the Lord now moves toward His final decision.

बादलों और सूर्य की उपमा इन्द्रजित की गुप्त युद्ध नीति को स्पष्ट करती है। वह अंधकार और छद्म वेश का स्वामी था। श्री राम उसे 'दुरात्मा' कहते हैं क्योंकि उसने अपनी शक्तियों का उपयोग अधर्म के लिए किया। शत्रु की सम्पूर्ण शक्ति को समझने के बाद अब प्रभु अपना अंतिम निर्णय लेने जा रहे हैं।
