विधमिष्यन्ति भित्त्वा तं महाचापगुणच्युताः ।
स एवमुक्त्वा द्युतिमान् वचनं भ्रातुरग्रतः ॥६-८५-२८॥
vidhamiṣyanti bhittvā taṃ mahācāpaguṇacyutāḥ |
sa evamuktvā dyutimān vaçanaṃ bhrāturagrataḥ ॥6-85-28॥
Translation
Shall destroy him after piercing through him, having been released from the string of my great bow.' Having spoken such radiant words before His brother—

विदीर्ण कर देंगे और मेरे महान धनुष की डोरी से छूटकर उसे नष्ट कर डालेंगे। अपने भाई के सामने ऐसा तेजस्वी वचन कहकर—
English Commentary
Shri Lakshmana's 'radiant words' manifest the firmness of His vow. He announces the destruction of Indrajit before Shri Rama, akin to a formal military oath. The epithet 'Dyutiman' reflects the aura of resolve on His face, which serves as a harbinger of victory.

श्री लक्ष्मण जी का 'तेजस्वी वचन' उनकी प्रतिज्ञा की दृढ़ता को प्रकट करता है। वे इन्द्रजित के 'विनाश' की घोषणा श्री राम के सम्मुख कर रहे हैं, जो एक सैनिक प्रतिज्ञा (Soldier's Vow) के समान है। 'द्युतिमान्' विशेषण उनके चेहरे पर छाई उस संकल्प की आभा को दर्शाता है जो विजय का पूर्व-संकेत है।
