नैर्ऋताधिपते वाक्यं यदुक्तं ते विभीषण ।
भूयस्तच्छ्रोतुमिच्छामि ब्रूहि यत्ते विवक्षितम् ॥६-८५-३॥
nairṛtādhipate vākyaṃ yaduktaṃ te vibhīṣaṇa |
bhūyastacchrotumicchāmi brūhi yatte vivakṣitam ॥6-85-3॥
Translation
O Vibhishana, Lord of the Rakshasas! I wish to hear again the words you spoke. Tell me once more what you intended to say.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे राक्षसाधिपति विभीषण! तुमने जो बात कही थी, मैं उसे पुनः सुनना चाहता हूँ। तुम जो कहना चाहते हो, उसे फिर से कहो।
English Commentary
Shri Rama humbly acknowledges His previous inability to focus on Vibhishana's words. Addressing Vibhishana as 'Nairritadhipate' (Lord of the Rakshasas) reaffirms both his current status as an ally and his future role as the King of Lanka. Shri Rama's request shows that He is now fully alert and serious about understanding the enemy's next tactical move.

श्री राम यहाँ विनम्रतापूर्वक अपनी विवशता स्वीकार करते हैं कि वे पहले विभीषण की बात नहीं सुन पाए थे। विभीषण को 'नैर्ऋताधिपते' (राक्षसों के स्वामी) कहना उनके भावी राज्याभिषेक और उनके वर्तमान सम्मान की पुष्टि करता है। श्री राम का यह आग्रह दर्शाता है कि वे अब पूर्णतः सचेत हैं और शत्रु की अगली चाल को समझने के लिए गंभीर हैं।
