स त्वमिन्द्राशनिप्रख्यैः शरैरवकिरन् परान् ।
अभिद्रवाशु यावद्वै नैतत् कर्म समाप्यते ॥६-८६-४॥
sa tvamindrāśaniprakhyaiḥ śarairavakiran parān |
abhidravāśu yāvadvai naitat karma samāpyate ॥6-86-4॥
Translation
Scattering the enemies with arrows resembling Indra's thunderbolt, attack quickly before this ritual (sacrifice) is completed.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तुम इन्द्र के वज्र के समान बाणों से शत्रुओं को छितराते हुए (मारते हुए) शीघ्रता से आक्रमण करो, जब तक कि यह कर्म (यज्ञ) पूरा न हो जाए।
English Commentary
Importance of time ('before it is completed'). If the sacrifice concludes, Indrajit will become invincible. Therefore, Lakshmana must attack with lightning speed.
हिंदी टीका
समय का महत्व ('यावत् न समाप्यते')। यदि यज्ञ पूरा हो गया, तो इन्द्रजीत अजेय हो जाएगा। इसलिए लक्ष्मण को बिजली की गति से आक्रमण करना होगा।
