गृध्राश्च निपतन्तु त्वां गतासुं निहतं मया ।
क्षत्रबन्धुं सदानार्यं रामः परमादुर्मतिः ॥६-८८-२४॥
gṛdhrāśca nipatantu tvāṃ gatāsuṃ nihataṃ mayā |
kṣatrabandhuṃ sadānāryaṃ rāmaḥ paramadurmatiḥ ॥6-88-24॥
Translation
'...and vultures shall descend upon you, who are lifeless and killed by me. Shri Rama, who is extremely evil-minded, always un-Aryan, and a disgrace to Kshatriyas...'

'...और गिद्ध, मेरे द्वारा मारे गए और प्राण रहित तुम पर टूट पड़ें। श्री राम, जो परम दुर्मति, सदा अनार्य और क्षत्रिय-धम (नीच क्षत्रिय) है...'
English Commentary
Here, Indrajit's frustration pours out as insults towards Shri Rama. Words like 'Kshatrabandhu' (disgrace to Kshatriyas) and 'Anarya' show the loss of his own discrimination. He has forgotten that maintaining respect for the enemy, even in war, is the code of heroes.

यहाँ इन्द्रजीत की कुंठा श्रीश्री राम के प्रति अपशब्दों के रूप में बाहर आ रही है। 'क्षत्रबंधु' और 'अनार्य' जैसे शब्द उसके अपने विवेक के नाश को दर्शाते हैं। वह भूल गया है कि युद्ध में भी शत्रु के प्रति सम्मान रखना वीरों का धर्म है।
