उभावपि सुविक्रान्तौ सर्वशस्त्रास्त्रकोविदौ ।
उभौ परमदुर्जेयावतुल्यबलतेजसौ ॥६-८८-३६॥
ubhāvapi suvikrāntau sarvaśastrāstrakovidau |
ubhau paramadurjeyāvatulyabalatejasau ॥6-88-36॥
Translation
Both were exceedingly valiant, experts in all weapons and missiles, extremely difficult to conquer, and possessed of incomparable strength and luster.

वे दोनों ही अत्यंत विक्रमी, समस्त शस्त्रों और अस्त्रों के ज्ञान में निपुण, परम दुर्जय (जिन्हें हराना कठिन हो) और अतुलनीय बल-तेज वाले थे।
English Commentary
The poet emphasizes the parity between the two warriors. Both possessed knowledge of 'Astras' (mantra-driven) and 'Shastras' (handheld weapons). This equilibrium compels the reader to wonder how righteousness will prevail when the enemy is equal in strength.
