Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
युयुधाते तदा वीरौ ग्रहाविव नभोगतौ ।
बलवृत्राविवाभीतौ युधि तौ दुष्प्रधर्षणौ ॥६-८८-३७॥
yuyudhāte tadā vīrau grahāviva nabhogatau |
balavṛtrāvivābhītau yudhi tau duṣpradharṣaṇau ॥6-88-37॥
Translation
Those two heroes fought then like two planets in the sky, and fearlessly like Bala and Vritra (fighting Indra). They were unconquerable in battle.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे दोनों वीर आकाश में दो ग्रहों की भांति और (प्राचीन काल में) बल और वृत्रासुर की भांति निर्भय होकर युद्ध कर रहे थे। युद्ध में उन्हें दबाना असंभव था।
English Commentary
A series of metaphors—first the collision of planets (cosmic war), then the example of mythological demons (Bala and Vritra). This battle seemed not just between two individuals but a clash of divine forces. 'Dushpradharshanau' means no third party would dare intervene between them.

उपमाओं की शृंखला—पहले ग्रहों की टक्कर (कॉस्मिक युद्ध), फिर पौराणिक असुरों (बल और वृत्र) का उदाहरण। यह युद्ध केवल दो व्यक्तियों का नहीं, बल्कि दैवीय शक्तियों का टकराव प्रतीत हो रहा था। 'दुष्प्रधर्षणौ' का अर्थ है कि कोई तीसरा उनके बीच आने का साहस नहीं कर सकता था।
